Email Hosting FAQ PDF Print E-mail

1. Why does email I send to other people not arrive?

RGB will make every effort to deliver a message to your recipient, but does not have any control over a message once it leaves the RGB webmail service. If your recipient is not with RGB, have check with their provider in an effort to figure out what happened to your message.

2. Why can't I send or receive email?

Problems sending and receiving mail are rarely related.

If the problem affects one particular service, then it's possible that there is a communications block between that service and RGB webmail. Try contacting that service's Postmaster to see if they are aware of problems both sending mail to and receiving mail from RGB webmail.

3. How do I setup RGB Webmail for Outlook/Outlook Express/Blackberry?

Please visit our support documentation.

4. I can send/receive emails with Outlook, but I still get an error message.

A common problem with Outlook is multiple accounts. Old accounts can create error messages when they fail to connect to the mail server.

Go to Tools -> Accounts ->View Edit/Change Accounts

If you see multiple accounts in your Outlook, you should delete any old email accounts (Especially anything with mail.rgbinternet.com!!!).

5. I receive an pop up error alert while logged into the webmail interface.

When we have issues like this with the webmail interface, the vast majority can be resolved quickly with the following steps:

1.Delete temporary internet files (cache) and cookies -You'll find instructions at http://www.hotcomm.com/FAQ/FAQ_temp_files.asp

2.Restart your computer
3.Login at mail.rgbhost.com

Failing those steps, please let us know the following:

-which url are you logging in at?
-what is the affected user's email address?
-which web browser and version?

-do you have any browser plugins or addons (google toolbar, etc.)?

-which operating system and version?

-how can i reproduce the error here? in other words, what steps can i take to replicate the error?
